Sullivan County Leaders Will Meet In A Called Session This Morning To Receive Copies Of The Proposed County Budget For Fiscal Year 2015-16. The Commission Will Consider The Spending Plan On First Reading, Which Calls For A 27 Cent Property Tax Hike. This Would Take The Property Tax Rate To $2.58 Cents Per 100 Dollars Of Assessed Value. A Public Hearing On The Budget Will Be Held Next Tuesday Evening At 6pm At The County Courthouse.
