A Kingsport Businessman Accused Of Killing One Of His Employees Has Taken The Stand In His Own Defense. 47 Year Old Samuel Ireson Is Charged With Voluntary Manslaughter, Possession Of A Firearm During A Felony, And Fabrication Of Evidence. He’s Accused Of Killing 31 Year Old James Guinn And Planting A Knife On Him. Ireson, Who Owns Kingsport Transfer Company, Testified Yesterday He Was Acting In Self Defense When He Shot Guinn And Denied Planting The Knife On Him. A Verdict In The Trial Could Come As Early As Today.
