The Perpetrator Tells Residents He Is A County Deputy And That He Is Calling Because They Have Outstanding Warrants And Must Meet Him To Pay Fines To Avoid Going To Jail. Sullivan County Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Leslie Earhart Said Law Enforcement Officers Will Never Call One’s Home And Offer An Option Of Paying A Fine To Avoid Being Arrested. If You Receive Such A Call, Simply Hang Up And Alert Police.
