A 1.5 Million Federal Dollar Lawsuit Filed Against Sullivan County By A West Virginia Man Arrested On Drug Charges Has Been Dismissed. Michael Sullivan Was Arrested In June 2012 At The Rainbow Family Gathering In Cherokee National Forest. After He Was Cleared Of All Charges By The Sullivan County Grand Jury, Sullivan Filed Suit. The U.S. District Court Has Thrown Out That Lawsuit Against Sullivan County And Multiple County Officials. Sullivan Claimed He Was Wrongfully Arrested Due To Lack Of Proper Training Of A County Officer Involved In His Arrest That Resulted In Use Of Out-Of-Date, Inaccurate Drug Field Test Supplies At The Scene.
