Detailed Planning Work Is Continuing To Move Forward On The Proposed Fine And Performing Arts Center At East Tennessee State University. The Original Plan Was For A 750 Seat Venue. Now, ETSU President Dr. Brian Noland Is Hoping For Additional Funding From The City To Increase Seating To 1,250 Seats. Members Of The Public Board That Manage The Neighboring Millennium Center See The Increased Seating As A Potential Means To Be Able To Use The Venue To Increase Marketability. A Decision On The Additional Funding From The City Has Not Yet Been Decided.
