A Sullivan County Jury Has Convicted A Kingsport Man In The Killing A Woman Four Years Ago. 40 Year Old Michael Fields Was Found Guilty Of Felony First Degree Murder, Reckless Homicide, Especially Aggravated Robbery, And Two Counts Of Especially Aggravated Burglary Yesterday. A Judge Ordered Him To Serve Life In Prison On The Murder Charges. A Sentencing Hearing For The Other Charges Is Set For November 23rd. Prosecutors Said Fields Robbed And Stabbed 52 Year Old Karen Knuckles In November 2004 At The Ballis Tourist Home On West Sullivan Street. Fields Will Also Stand Trial October 30th For A Double Murder. His First Trial Ended In A Hung Jury.
