Jonesborough Leaders Are Beginning Efforts To Try To Get Funding Approved To Build A New K-8 School In Conjunction With A Facility Planned For The Boones Creek Zone. Town Leaders Passed A Resolution Last Month Urging County Leaders To Consider Funding A School Within The Town’s Borders And Town Representatives Intend To Visit County Meetings Starting This Week To Make Their Case. Funding Limits Won’t Allow The Town To Build Both Facilities, So The Goal Is To Get County Leaders To Help Finance Both Projects.
