Although Domestic Violence In Tennessee Resulted In 270 Murders From 2012-2014, A Recent Study By The Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation Shows Domestic Violence Continues To Decrease Across The State. Juveniles Accounted For 58 Of Victims Reporting A Victim-To-Offender Relationship As Child Or Step-Child. The Study Also Found That Simple Assault Accounted For More Than 68 Percent Of All Domestic Violence Offenses, And That Females Were Three Times More Likely To Be Victimized Than Males.
