Kingsport City Leaders Want To Revisit An Idea To Develop A Riverwalk. Eight Years Ago, Consultants From Knoxville Helped The City Draft A Plan For The Holston River Area. The Idea Is To Transform The Area Into An Arts, Entertainment And Heritage District With Commercial And Retail Development, Restaurants, Condos Parks And Walking Trails. Mayor John Clark Said He Plans To Hold A Summit Within The First 100 Days To Bring Together Community Leaders And The Public To Craft A New Vision And Long-Range Plan For The City.
