A Carter County Commissioner Has Called It Quits. Richard Tester Submitted His Letter Of Resignation To County Mayor Johnny Holder On Friday. He Said He Liked Being A Commisioner And Wanted To Continue But Financially He Said It Was In His Best Interest To Resign. He Said He Needs To Make A Living. Tester Owns His Own Security Company, Secure Test Alarms And Received Criticism Recently When He Took A Job As A Subcontractor For Security Systems In The Sheriff’s Office. The Commission Is Now Down To 23 Members. A Replacement Is Expected To Be Appointed Soon.
