A Jury In Jonesborough Has Found Two Women Guilty Of Conspiracy To Commit First Degree Murder And Two Counts Of First Degree Murder In The 2012 Double Slayings Of A Johnson County Couple. Barbara Potter, Of Johnson City, And Her Daughter,Jenelle Potter, Were Convicted In The Deaths Of Billy Payne Jr. And Billie Jean Hayworth Nearly Three Years Ago. Both Will Serve Life In Prison. The Potters Will Be Sentenced On June 17th To Decide Whether The Sentences Will Be Served Consecutively Or Concurrently. Meanwhile, Marvin Potter Is Serving A Double Life Sentence While Jamie Curd Is Expected To Enter A Plea At A Later Date.
