BRING OUT THE BIRTHDAY CAKE. BRISTOL LIFESAVING CREW IS CELEBRATING 60 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE AREA. THE LIFESAVING CREW TODAY HAS TWO AMBULANCES ON DUTY 24 HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. AND THEY STAY BUSY. LAST YEAR, THE CREW RESPONDED TO MORE THAN 300 EMERGENCY CALLS. THE NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION HAS AN ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET OF OVER 650-THOUSAND DOLLARS. TO CELEBRATE THIS MILESTONE, THERE WILL BE AN OPEN HOUSE FREE TO THE PUBLIC THIS SATURDAY FROM NOON UNTIL 4 P.M. AT THE CREW’S HALL ON EUCLID AVENUE. THE OPEN HOUSE WILL INCLUDE PUBLIC TOURS OF THE FACILITY WITH AMBULANCES AND EQUIPMENT ON DISPLAY.
