Kingsport City Leaders Are Expected To Soon Consider Banning Window And Door Border Lighting In Non-Residential Areas Of Town Later This Summer. Such Lighting Is Being Deemed As “Visual Clutter”. The Ordinance Was Brought Up At Last Week’s Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Meeting, But The Matter Was Tabled. Under The Proposed City Law, Christmas Lights Would Be Allowed To Be Up Between November 15th And January 5th. This Does Not Affect City Residents.
