It Appears The Restaurant Privilege Tax Resolution That Was Recently Approved By The Bristol Tennessee City Council Will Be On Hold For At Least Another Year. City Manager Bill Sorah Has Asked State Representative Jon Lundberg To Sponsor The Measure Which Would Raise Revenue To Help Pay For Improvements, Like A Convention Center, Baseball Stadium And An Aquatic Facility. The Bill Would Allow The City To Tax Up To Two Percent On Meals Served In Restaurants, Cafes, Cafeterias And By Caterers. .
