Kingsport’s New 911 Center Has Been Dedicated With A Flag Being Raised. However, The State-Of-The-Art Facility On Unicoi Street Is Not Open Just Yet. An Event Was Held On Thursday To Commemorate National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. A New Public Safety Radio Communications System Is Being Put In Across Sullivan County. Kingsport Central Dispatch Will Be Operating Out Of The New Facility As Soon As The New Radio System Is Ready To Go Online. The Official Dedication And Opening Of The New 911 Center Is Expected To Be Held In The New Few Months.
