The Hawkins County Board Of Education Has Agreed To Quitclaim The Old North Fork School Property Over To The County. The Property Includes A Building On A Three-Quarters-Of-An-Acre Lot Located Near The Grassy Creek Road Intersection. The Facility Is Currently Used As A Ruritan Club And A Voting Precinct And Has Been Ever Since It Quit Functioning As A School In 1960. School Leaders Are Unable To Find A Deed For The Old School And The School System Doesn’t Need It And Doesn’t Need The Building. .
