CHANGES COULD BE IN THE WORKS CONCERNING ELECTIONS FOR SULLIVAN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS. ADMINISTRATOR OF ELECTIONS JASON BOOHER WILL BE SENDING LETTERS TO THE COUNTY CHAIRMEN OF THE DEMOCRATIC AND REPUBLICAN PARTIES GIVING THEM A HEADS UP ON APPROACHING DEADLINES FOR NEXT YEAR’S COUNTY ELECTIONS AND HOW SOME OF THOSE DEADLINES COULD SHIFT FOR CANDIDATES IF THEIR PARTY CHOOSES TO CHANGE WHICH OFFICES ARE INCLUDED IN PARTY PRIMARIES. IN THE PAST, ELECTIONS HAVE NOT BEEN PARTISAN RACES, ALL CANDIDATES HAVE RUN AND BEEN ELECTED AS INDEPENDENTS.
