HIGH SPEED INTERNET SERVICE IS BEING MADE AVAILABLE TO MORE BUSINESSES IN AREAS OF SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA THANKS TO A GRANT FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE’S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION. THE 1.2 MILLION DOLLAR GRANT WILL BE USED TO INSTALL HIGH CAPACITY FIBER OPTIC CABLE ALONG 40 MILES OF STATE ROUTES 63 AND 67 IN DICKENSON, RUSSELL, AND TAZEWELL COUNTIES.
