Virginia Delegate Terry Kilgore’s House Bill 2058 Has Been Approved By The Virginia General Assembly And Is Headed To The Governor’s Desk To Be Signed. The Bill Is Aimed At Trying To Get Coalbed Methane Gas Money Out Of An Escrow Account For Landowners In Southwest Virginia Who’ve Been In A Years-Long Federal Lawsuit Battle. If Signed By The Governor, The Gas Producers Would Have To Release The Funds From Escrow By January 1st Of 2016.
