Recycling For Sullivan County Is Paying Off. According To The Director Of The County’s Solid Waste Department Lucian Lawson, The County Consistently Recycles 48 Percent Of Its Waste Each Year. The County Processes Its Own Recyclables Using Day Workers And The County Doesn’t Charge Residents To Drop Off Those Items. They Bring In Revenues To The County Of Upwards Of 200-Thousand Dollars Annually.
