Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe Will Be Visiting Wise County Virginia This Afternoon To Assess The Damage From A Recent Winter Snow Storm. McAuliffe Is Expected To Meet With The Food Bank Of Wise County’s Board Around One Thirty At Hardees In Wise And Then Survey The Damage To The Food Bank’s Building That Collapsed Due To Heavy Snow. He Will Also Visit Several Other Locations As Well. Meanwhile, Neighboring Lee And Dickenson Counties Have Each Declared A State Of Emergency After More Than Two Feet Of Snow Collapsed Roofs. The National Guard Is Helping To Distribute Water And Meals To Folks Who Are Unable To Leave Their Homes.
