It Was A Busy Time For Virginia State Police During The First Winter Storm Of 2015. From 4 P.M. Monday Through 4 A.M. Tuesday, Virginia State Police Troopers And Dispatchers Statewide Fielded Over 22-Hundred Calls For Service Statewide. During The 12-Hour Period, Troopers Responded To 825 Traffic Crashes And 620 Disabled Vehicles Only. Due To Vehicles Losing Control On Slick Roads, Two State Troopers Were Struck And Injured. In Addition, One Fatality Occurred Across The Commonwealth.
