A New Water Management Device Is Being Installed At Sugar Hollow Dam In Bristol Virginia. The 1.1 Million Dollar Project Is Part Of A Larger 6.9 Million Dollar Project By The U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers To Address Concerns About Downstream Flooding From Beaver Creek. The Structure Is Being Built On The Upstream Side Of The Dam Near The Park’s Wetlands Area. Public Access To The Park Isn’t Affected By The Work.
