ACCORDING TO OFFICIALS WITH TRIPLE A MID ATLANTIC AUTO CLUB, SLIGHTLY OVER ONE MILLION VIRGINIANS WILL TAKE A TRIP OF 50 MILES OR MORE AWAY FROM HOME FOR THE HOLIDAY. THAT’S A DECREASE OF 15 PERCENT FROM LAST YEAR. THE VAST MAJORITY OF TRAVELERS, 84 PERCENT, REPORT THEY WILL TRAVEL VIA AUTOMOBILE FOR A TOTAL OF 865-THOUSAND IN THE COMMONWEALTH.
