IT WILL BE LATER THIS YEAR BEFORE TRIAL BEGINS FOR A WASHINGTON COUNTY VIRGINIA MAN ACCUSED OF SHOOTING HIS SON IN APRIL. TONY GLENN COLEMAN WILL HAVE A JURY TRIAL AFTER BEING CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER AND USE OF A FIREARM IN THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY IN THE SHOOTING OF 19 YEAR OLD JUSTIN COLEMAN AT A HOME ON PICKETT LANE IN ABINGDON. POLICE SAY THE SHOOTING WAS THE RESULT OF SOME SORT OF SQUABBLE BETWEEN THE TWO THAT ESCALATED TO VIOLENCE. JUSTIN COLEMAN WAS SHOT IN THE LEFT SIDE, BACK, AND ARM AND WAS CRITICALLY INJURED. THE FATHER IS SET TO GO ON TRIAL ON NOVEMBER 19TH IN WASHINGTON COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT.
