TWO TEENS, WHO ARE FROM OUT OF STATE, WHO PLEAD GUILTY TO VANDALIZING UNICOI COUNTY MEMORIAL PARK EARLIER THIS YEAR WILL REMAIN IN STATE’S CUSTODY. THE BOYS, AGES 16 AND 17, ARE ACCUSED OF BURNING FLAGS, SPRAY PAINTING AN M-60 TANK, AND BUSTING OUT A WINDOW IN THE PRESS BOX AT THE STADIUM. THEY WILL BE UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE TENNSSEE DEPARMENT OF CHILDREN’S SERVICES UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN SUFFICIENTLY REHABILITATED OR THEY TURN 19 YEARS OLD. DCS WILL DETERMINE PLACEMENT FOR THE TEENS, WHICH COULD RANGE FROM A GROUP HOME TO A JUVENILE JAIL. THE TWO HAVE WRITTEN LETTERS OF APOLOGY AND ARE PAYING 39-HUNDRED DOLLARS IN RESTITUTION.
