A GREENE COUNTY MAN IS BEHIND BARS FOR ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTING ANOTHER MAN AT A BULLS GAP BUSINESS USING AN UNUSUAL WEAPON. 26 YEAR OLD NATHANIAL GALLOWAY IS ACCUSED OF TRYING TO SNATCH THE PURSE OF SARA GALA WHO WAS GETTING INTO A VEHICLE AT THE BULLS GAP FAMILY DOLLAR. A MAN WHO HAD BEEN SHOPPING WITH THE VICTIM, ARRON SUMMEY, CHASED GALLOWAY WHO REPORTEDLY TAZERED SUMMEY SEVERAL TIMES IN THE ABDOMEN AND NECK. GALLOWAY’S BEEN CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, A FELONY PUNISHABLE BY THREE TO SIX YEARS IN PRISON. HE IS BEING HELD IN THE HAWKINS COUNTY JAIL UNDER BOND OF 3-THOUSAND DOLLARS, AND IS SET TO BE ARRAIGNED IN HAWKINS COUNTY SESSIONS COURT ON AUGUST 17TH.
