TRIAL FOR A SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA PASTOR FACING INDECENT EXPOSURE CHARGES HAS BEEN RESET FOR LATER THIS MONTH. 65 YEAR OLD JOHN FRANKLIN MCCARROLL OF BIG STONE GAP WAS ARRESTED APRIL 8TH DURING AN UNDERCOVER INVESTIGATION BY KINGSPORT POLICE AT THE PUBLIC RESTROOMS AT RIVERFRONT PARK ON NETHERLAND INN ROAD. MCCARROLL WAS SET TO GO ON TRIAL THIS WEEK, BUT PROCEEDINGS WERE DELAYED SO KINGSPORT GENERAL SESSIONS COURT JUDGE DUANE SNODGRASS CAN DECIDE IF THE PARK’S RESTROOMS ARE PUBLIC PLACES. THE CASE WAS RESET UNTIL AUGUST 27TH.
