FOR THE SECOND WEEK IN A ROW EMPLOYEES HAD TO BE EVACUATED THIS MORNING FROM THE JOHNSON CITY MUNICIPAL AND SAFETY BUILDING. THE WORKERS COMPLAINED OF NAUSEOUS HEADACHES AND A METALLIC TASTE IN THEIR MOUTHS. SIX WORKERS WENT TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL TO BE CHECKED OUT AFTER SOME REPORTED LEVELS OF CARBON MONOXIDE. ASSISTANT FIRE CHIEF CHRIS WILLIAMS SAYS THEY’RE TRYING TO FIND OUT WHAT’S GOING ON. THE BUILDING HAS BEEN REOPENED AND TESTING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TOMORROW.
