THE SCOTT COUNTY VIRGINIA BOARD OF SUPERVISORS HAVE APPROVED A THREE MILLION DOLLAR LINE OF CREDIT TO ENSURE TEACHERS RECEIVE THEIR PAYCHECKS. THE FUNDING WAS APPROVED AS A RESULT OF THE DELAY OF PREAPPROVED STATE FUNDING. THIS THE FIRST TIME A LINE OF CREDIT HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED SINCE THE CURRENT BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TOOK OFFICE. STATE FUNDS ARE NOW EXPECTED TO BE RECEIVED IN FEBRUARY OR MARCH.
