A PORTION OF MAIN STREET IN GREENEVILLE IS OPEN AGAIN TODAY FOLLOWING THE COLLAPSE OF A LARGE WALL THAT FELL INTO THE ROADWAY. ACCORDING TO POLICE, A 100 FOOT SECTION OF THE FRONT WALL OF THE HISTORIC BERNARD WAREHOUSE NUMBER TWO THAT BURNED EARLIER THIS YEAR, COLLAPSED INTO SOUTH MAIN STREET YESTERDAY. WIND IS BEING BLAMED ON THE INCIDENT. A PORTION OF THE ROADWAY WAS CLOSED TO ALLOW WORK CREWS TO REMOVE DEBRIS FROM THE STREET AND SIDEWALK. EVERYTHING IS NOW BACK TO NORMAL.
