JOHNSON CITY POLICE ARE SEARCHING FOR A BANDIT THAT HELDUP A CITY CONVENIENCE STORE EARLY THIS MORNING. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED AROUND ONE O’CLOCK AT THE SUNOCO ON SOUTH ROAN STREET. WITNESSES STATED A MALE SUBJECT ENETERED THE BUSINESS WEARING A WHITE HAT, WHITE BANDANA OVER HIS FACE, DARK SUNGLASSES AND A DARK GREEN JACKET. HE DEMANDED MONEY FROM THE CLERK ON DUTY AND THEN LEFT WITH AN UNDETERMINED AMOUNT OF MONEY. NO ONE WAS INJURED IN THE ORDEAL. THE INVESTIGATION IS CONTINUING AND POLICE ARE ASKING ANYONE WITH INFORMATION TO CALL THE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION UNIT.
