A GREENE COUNTY MAN IS FACING CHARGES AFTER POLICE SAY HIS PICKUP TRUCK STRUCK A MOBILE HOME AND KNOCKED IT OFF ITS FOUNDATION. 29 YEAR OLD ABRAHAM JOSHUA JONES WAS CHARGED WITH DUI AND LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT FOLLOWING THE ACCIDENT ON OLD MOUNTAIN ROAD. JONES WAS THE DRIVER OF THE TRUCK THAT LEFT THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK A PARKED JEEP SUV BEFORE STRIKING THE MOBILE HOME. THE MOBILE HOME WAS OCCUPIED BY A PREGNANT WOMAN WHO HAD BEEN IN BED AT THE TIME OF THE COLLISION. POLICE SAY THE IMPACT OF THE TRUCK AND MOBILE HOME THREW THE UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN FROM HER BED. THE WOMAN IS NOT BELIEVED TO HAVE SUFFERED ANY INJURIES DUE TO THE ACCIDENT. AFTER THE COLLISION, JONES FLED THE SCENE, BUT WAS LATER FOUND BY DEPUTIES AT A RESIDENCE. HE WILL APPEAR IN GENERAL SESSIONS COURT LATER TODAY.
