A ROGERSVILLE TEEN WILL BE TRIED AS AN ADULT FOR A WRECK THAT HAPPENED WHEN HE WAS 16 YEARS OLD. HAWKINS COUNTY JUVENILE JUDGE JAMES TAYLOR RULED THAT JOSHUA JUNIOR ARNOLD, NOW 19 YEARS OLD, WILL BE TRIED ON A VEHICULAR HOMICIDE CHARGE STEMMING FROM A 2006 ACCIDENT. ARNOLD WAS DRIVING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED NORTHBOUND ON ROUTE 66 IN HAWKINS COUNTY. THE VEHICLE EXITED THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD WHILE ATTEMPTING TO NEGOTIATE A CURVE, FLIPPED, AND STRUCK A TREE. THE CRASH RESULTED IN THE DEATH OF 20 YEAR OLD KENNETH CLIFFORD BRADY ALSO OF ROGERSVILLE. IF CONVICTED OF VEHICULAR HOMICIDE, ARNOLD COULD FACE UP TO 12 YEARS IN PRISON.
