OFFICIALS AT A SCOTT COUNTY VIRGINIA BUSINESS THAT CAUGHT FIRE THIS WEEK PLAN TO REOPEN THIS MORNING. THE BLAZE HAPPENED YESTERDAY MORNING AT A STORAGE FACILITY AT DYNO NOBLE IN THE DUFFIELD INDUSTRIAL PARK. AUTHORITIES SAID THE METAL BUILDING DIDN’T CONTAIN ANY EXPLOSIVES AND FIRE CREWS DECIDED TO LET IT BURN ITSELF OUT. THERE WAS NO THREAT TO THE PUBLIC AND NONE OF THE 20 EMPLOYEES WERE INJURED. DYNO NOBEL PROVIDES EXPLOSIVES TO THE MINING, QUARRY, CONSTRUCTION, PIPELINE AND GEOPHYSICAL EXPLORATION INDUSTRIES.
