RICKY RAY DAY OF MARTINSVILLE VIRGINIA IS CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE AND FACES SEVERAL MORE CHARGES. OFFICERS CONFISCATED NEARLY 16-HUNDRED DOLLARS WORTH OF CRACK COCAINE AND OVER 17-HUNDRED DOLLARS IN CASH. POLICE DISCOVERED HE HAD RENTED ANOTHER ROOM AND ALLEGEDLY FOUND AN ADDITIONAL THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF CRACK COCAINE, A LOADED 9MM PISTOL AND PARAPHERNALIA ASSOCIATED WITH THE SALE OF COCAINE. DAY IS BEING HELD WITHOUT BOND PENDING HIS TRIAL. HE FACES A PRELIMINARY HEARING ON JANUARY 8TH IN GENERAL DISTRICT COURT.
