AN APPARENT ALTERCATION AT AN POPULAR ELIZABETHTON EATERY HAS CAUSED PROBLEMS FOR A CITY MAN. 32 YEAR OLD BRANDON BASS IS FACING NUMEROUS CHARGES AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY MADE THREATS TOWARDS ANOTHER PERSON AT APPLEBEE’S RESTAURANT ON OVERMOUNTAIN DRIVE. WITNESSES SAID BASS LEFT THE RESTAURANT, WENT TO HIS VEHICLE, RETURNED WITH A HANDGUN, AND ALLEGEDLY POINTED IT IN A THREATENING MANNER. BASS IS CHARGED WITH FIVE COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, POSSESSION OF A HANDGUN WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE, DISORDERLY CONDUCT, AND RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT. HE’S SET TO APPEAR IN CARTER COUNTY GENERAL SESSIONS COURT ON NOVEMBER 14TH.
