A HIGH SPEED SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE HAS CLAIMED THE LIVES OF TWO LIMESTONE RESIDENTS. ACCORDING TO SHERIFF ED GRAYBEAL, THE DRIVER OF THE CAR 20 YEAR OLD MATTHEW CHRISTOPHER GRIFFIN AND A PASSENGER 21 YEAR OLD MATTHEW JONES WERE KILLED WHEN THEIR VEHICLE BECAME AIRBORNE AND LEFT THE ROADWAY ON BIG LIMESTONE ROAD STRIKING A GUARDRAIL AND SEVERAL TREES. 23 YEAR OLD CHRISTOPHER SHOCKLEY ALSO OF LIMESTONE WAS INJURED IN THE MISHAP. THE OCCUPANTS WERE NOT WEARING SEAT BELTS. ALCOHOL IS NOT BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR. THE INVESTIGATION IS CONTINUING AND NO CHARGES ARE EXPECTED TO BE FILED.
