ACCORDING TO THE WISE COUNTY VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH ATTORNEY, THREE COEBURN TEENS MAY BE FACING ADULT CHARGES IN CONNECTION WITH ALLEGED BEATINGS AT THE PINE CAMP AREA LAST MONTH. COMMONWEALTH ATTORNEY RON ELKINS SAID HIS OFFICE HAS FILED JUVENILE PETITIONS ON A 16, 15, AND 14 YEAR OLD MALE. THE BOYS ARE EACH CHARGED WITH MALICIOUS WOUNDING, AGGRAVATED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, AND SEVERAL OTHER CHARGES FOR THEIR ALLEGED PART IN THE SEPTEMBER 19TH INCIDENT. POLICE SAID AT LEAST 30 TEENS ATTENDED THE PINE CAMP PARTY WHERE HEAVY AMOUNTS OF ALCOHOL WERE CONSUMED. 19 YEAR OLD LANCE SEXTON WAS BEATEN, ALONG WITH 31 YEAR OLD ERNEST BRIAN STILL AND A 15 YEAR OLD UNIDENTIFIED MALE. ELKINS SAID THE INVESTIGATION IS CONTINUING AND MORE CHARGES WILL LIKELY BE FILED.
