SOME IMPORTANT FUNDING FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS COMING TO A SMALL MEDICAL CLINIC IN TAZEWELL COUNTY VIRGINIA. 9TH DISTRICT CONGRESSMAN RICK BOUCHER HAS ANNOUNCED A GRANT FROM THE HEALTH RESOURCE SERVICE ADMINISTRATION THAT WILL ENABLE DOCTORS AT THE CLINIC TO UTILIZE RESOURCES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA’S MEDICAL CENTER. X RAYS, LAB SLIDES, AND OTHER IMAGES CAN BE TRANSMITTED TO THE MEDICAL CENTER WITH THE CLARITY AS THE ORIGINAL. THIS WILL BE VERY BENEFICIAL AND WILL SAVE TIME. OFFICIALS HOPE THE EQUIPMENT WILL BE IN PLACE AND IN SERVICE BY THE END OF NOVEMBER.
