A COUPLE ARRESTED IN KNOXVILLE FOR ALLEGEDLY COMMITTING OVER A HUNDRED HOME INVASION, ROBBERIES AND BREAK-INS HAVE TIES TO THE TRI CITIES. LIGER GRADY AND MEGAN FREEMAN WERE ARRESTED FRIDAY AT A MOTEL IN KNOXVILLE. BOTH ARE WANTED IN KENTUCKY AND VIRGINIA AS WELL. UNICOI COUNTY SHERIFF KENT HARRIS SAYS HIS OFFICERS HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR THE PAIR SINCE LAST MONTH WHEN THEY FOUND STOLEN ITEMS IN A MOTEL ROOM WHERE THEY STAYED WHILE IN UNICOI COUNTY. THE ITEMS WERE ALLEGEDLY STOLEN FROM A SAFE IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE. THEY WERE DRIVING A FORD PICKUP TRUCK POLICE BELIEVE WAS STOLEN FROM GREENEVILLE WHICH HAS ALSO BEEN RECOVERED AND CONTAINED STOLEN PROPERTY. GRADY WAS ALREADY WANTED BY U.S. MARSHAL’S FOR A PROBATION VIOLATION ON A MURDER CHARGE OUT OF MARYLAND.
