A LARGE SCALE DRUG TRAFFICKING ORGANIZATION THAT WAS DISCOVERED DURING A TRAFFIC STOP IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE HAS FIVE PEOPLE WITH A TRIAL DATE SET IN U.S. DISTRICT COURT IN GREENEVILLE. ANTONIO CHAVEZ, CECILIA HEATHERLY, EMIGDIO RODRIGUEZ, ELIAS LOPEZ AND JOSE HERNANDEZ ARE CHARGED WITH POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE 500 GRAMS OR MORE OF COCAINE AND CONSPIRACY TO DISTRIBUTE 500 GRAMS OR MORE OF COCAINE. THEIR VEHICLE WAS STOPPED BY A SHERIFF’S DEPUTY AFTER THEIR VEHICLE HAD BEEN DRIVEN IN AN ERRACTIC MANNER ON HIGHWAY 11E. 2.2 POUNDS OF COCAINE WORTH NEARLY 100-THOUSAND DOLLARS AS WELL AS OVER 100-THOUSAND DOLLARS IN CASH AND TWO VEHICLES WERE SEIZED. THEIR FEDERAL TRIAL IS SET FOR JANUARY 7TH.
