A FIGHT BETWEEN SEVERAL ADULTS AT A YOUTH FOOTBALL GAME IN ELIZABETHTON HAS LEFT AN ELDERLY WOMAN INJURED. 78 YEAR OLD MARY ENGLISH WAS ATTEMPTING TO BREAK UP THE BRAWL AT ELIZABETHTON HIGH SCHOOL WHEN SHE WAS KNOCKED TO THE GROUND. SHE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL WHERE SHE UNDERWENT SURGERY FOR A BROKEN HIP. SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE SUFFERED CUTS, SCRAPES AND BRUISES IN THE FIGHT. POLICE SAID IT STARTED AFTER A COMPLAINT TO THE COACH ABOUT THE LACK OF PLAYING TIME FOR ONE OF THE CHILDREN.
