SOME TENSE MOMENTS AT A HAWKINS COUNTY SCHOOL. THE START OF SCHOOL WEDNESDAY MORNING AT CHEROKEE HIGH SCHOOL WAS DISRUPTED AFTER OFFICIALS SAY SOMEONE APPARENTLY SPRAY PAINTED A THREAT OF A POSSIBLE BOMB AT THE SCHOOL ON A WALL OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL. HAWKINS COUNTY DEPUTIES AND BOMB-SNIFFING DOGS WERE BROUGHT IN, AND SCOURED THE ENTIRE FACILITY. NO BOMB WAS FOUND. FACULTY, STAFF, AND STUDENTS WERE ALLOWED BACK INSIDE THE SCHOOL JUST AFTER NOON. 1,250 STUDENTS ATTEND CHEROKEE. AN INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING.
