ABINGDON VIRGINIA POLICE HAVE ARRESTED SIX AREA PEOPLE IN CONNECTION WITH TWO BURGLARIES THAT NETTED OVER 5-THOUSAND DOLLARS IN ELECTRONICS AND JEWELRY. THE BURGLARIES OCCURRED IN JULY OF THIS YEAR ON WALDEN ROAD. ACCORDING TO ABINGDON POLICE CHIEF TONY SULLIVAN, INVESTIGATORS RECOVERED THE STOLEN PROPERTY FROM HOMES IN ABINGDON AND WASHINGTON COUNTY VIRGINIA. ARRESTED WERE 25 YEAR OLD DONALD GOODSON, 21 YEAR OLD JAMES HATFIELD, 51 YEAR OLD POLLY ANN GOODSON, 23 YEAR OLD KRISTEN JENSEN, 21 YEAR OLD AMBER WOOD ALL OF ABINGDON, AND 25 YEAR OLD CHARLES STILTNER OF BRISTOL VIRGINIA. THE CHARGES AGAINST THE SUSPECTS INCLUDE BREAKING AND ENTERING, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY, AND GRAND LARCENY. THE INVESTIGATION IS CONTINUING.
