A WOMAN WHO WANTED IN UTAH FOR ABDUCTING HER EIGHT WEEK OLD BABY AND WHO WAS FOUND IN JOHNSON CITY WILL RETURNING TO UTAH. 27 YEAR OLD SHEILA CRUMP AND HER BABY, VENESSA OCHOA WERE FOUND INSIDE A HOME ON NORTH BOONE STREET FRIDAY NIGHT. AUTHORITIES SAID SHE WAS LIVING IN A TREATMENT CENTER AND DIDN’T HAVE CUSTODY OF THE CHILD DUE TO A PAST DRUG HISTORY. THE STATE OF UTAH HAD CUSTODY OF THE BABY. CRUMP’S MOTHER LIVES IN JOHNSON CITY AND WHEN SHE DISAPPEARED WITH THE BABY, UTAH AUTHORITIES CONTACTED JOHNSON CITY POLICE. THE CHILD HAS BEEN TURNED OVER TO CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES AND PLACED IN A TEMPORARY FOSTER HOME WHILE AWAITING ARRANGEMENTS IN UTAH. CRUMP HAS WAIVED EXTRADICTION, AND IS BEING HELD ON A 100-THOUSAND DOLLARS BOND IN THE WASHINGTON COUNTY DETENTION CENTER.
