A SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE HAS CLAIMED THE LIFE OF A COUNTY MAN. ACCORDING TO THE TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL, 38 YEAR OLD DAVID MEADE OF GRAY WAS TRAVELING SOUTH ON BOBBY HICKS HIGHWAY YESTERDAY WHEN HIS CAR TRAVELED ACROSS THE HIGHWAY AND OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. HIS VEHICLE ROLLED SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE COMING TO REST ON AN EMBANKMENT. MEADE WAS FLOWN BY WINGS AIR RESCUE TO JOHNSON CITY MEDICAL CENTER, WHERE HE LATER DIED. THE CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESITGATION.
