THE SEARCH IS OVER FOR A CARTER COUNTY MAN ACCUSED OF STABBING ANOTHER MAN EARLIER THIS WEEK. 26 YEAR OLD TRAVIS RICHARDSON IS CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED FIRST DEGREE MURDER AND TWO COUNTS OF FELONY RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT AFTER ALLEGEDLY STABBING DANIEL HONEYCUTT MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE ARM, HAND AND BACK. AUTHORITIES BEGAN SEARCHING FOR RICHARDSON AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY FORCED HIS WAY INTO HIS EX-GIRLFRIEND’S HOME ON FRONTAGE ROAD THIS PAST WEDNESDAY MORNING AND ATTACKED HONEYCUTT WHO IS NOW LISTED IN CRITICAL CONDITION AT A LOCAL HOSPITAL. RICHARDSON WAS FOUND YESTERDAY AND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AT HIS FATHER’S HOME WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE WEAPON USED IN THE CRIME WAS HAS NOT YET BEEN LOCATED.
