A MAN CONVICTED IN THE MURDER OF A BRISTOL TENNESSEE MAN WILL BE SENTENCED LATER THIS YEAR IN SULLIVAN COUNTY CRIMINAL COURT. JOEY GOINS IS ALREADY SERVING A LIFE SENTENCE IN FEDERAL PRISON IN THE KILLING OF AN EAST TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT. GOINS WAS FOUND GUILTY IN SULLIVAN COUNTY CRIMINAL COURT FRIDAY OF SECOND DEGREE MURDER AND ESPECIALLY AGGRAVATED ROBBERY IN THE KILLING OF 51 YEAR OLD TERRY RHYMER. GOINS WAS ORIGINALLY CHARGED WITH FIRST DEGREE MURDER. HE NOW FACES UP TO 25 YEARS IN PRISON WHEN HE’S SENTENCED ON NOVEMBER 3RD.
