A GRAINGER COUNTY MAN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH TENNCARE FRAUD FOR SELLING PRESCRIPTION DRUG MEDICATION PAID FOR BY TENNCARE. 58 YEAR OLD ROGER BOATMAN OF BEAN STATION IS ACCUSED OF FRAUDULENTLY OBTAINING MEDICAL ASSISTANCE BY GOING TO A TENNCARE PROVIDER FOR THE PRESCRIPTION PAINKILLERS MS CONTIN WHICH IS A FORM OF MORPHINE, AND KADIAN WHICH IS ALSO A FORM OF MORPHINE AS WELL AS LORTAB. TENNCARE OFFICIALS BELIEVE BOATMAN INTENDED TO RESELL AT LEAST PART OF THE PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. BOATMAN ALLEGEDLY USED HIS TENNCARE BENEFITS TO PAY FOR THE DRUGS. BOATMAN IS FACING UP TO TWO YEARS PER CHARGE IN PRISON.
